The Laws of Success in Sales
There is no doubt that salesmen are not the most popular people on earth! Yet, there is also no denying the fact that we are all salesmen in our daily lives, whether it is in business or our personal interactions. That is why Zig Ziglar once said, “I have always said that everyone is in sales. Maybe you don’t hold the title of salesperson, but if the business you are in requires you to deal with people, you, my friend, are in sales.”
So what makes a good salesperson? How is it that some people sell well and others do not? Of course, a lot has to do with how you interact with people. Some people come across as earnest and sincere, some are too taciturn for their own good. But do note – it is not just loud, gregarious people who make good sales people; there are a number of quiet, shy people who have been real killers when it comes to selling.
Good selling is totally dependent on how you interact with people, how well you know the benefits of your product or service and how well you understand the needs of your customers. The attached article, “The 10 Laws of Sales Success” outlines some truisms that could help you become a good salesperson.
